Insurance claims and rental cars: how a Stamford body shop helps
The paperwork is the worst part of an accident. Here is how we take it off your plate.
After an accident, most drivers expect the hard part to be the repair. It usually is not. The hard part is the phone tree: the insurance adjuster, the rental counter, the tow company, the parts supplier. Each one wants a different form, and each one is closed by the time you call the next.
That is the part we handle for you. When your car comes into the shop at 79 Liberty Street, we deal directly with your insurance adjuster on the estimate. We photograph the damage, write the supplement, and negotiate the parts and labor line items so you do not have to learn collision estimating on the fly.
If your policy includes rental coverage, we help arrange the rental and we are flexible on pickup and drop-off times. Customers often tell us the rental coordination was what made the whole process feel seamless. That is the goal.
A few things to bring on the first visit: your claim number, the adjuster's name and phone number, and your policy declaration page if you have it handy. If you do not have a claim open yet, we can walk you through opening one.
We work in English and Spanish. If you are more comfortable explaining what happened in Spanish, you will not get passed to a third party. The same person who writes your estimate will talk through the repair plan with you.
The repair itself is the visible part. The invisible part is the dozen phone calls and emails that happen behind the scenes to keep it moving. That is the work we actually get paid for, and it is the reason customers come back.
